Worship at Zion is open to all those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!

Worship at Zion consists of both traditional and contemporary songs, readings from the Bible, confessions and communion each Sunday at 10:30AM.

Music for these services use traditional church organ, piano, guitar and flute.  We try to provide a good mixture of instruments throughout each month to provide some alternative to the traditional organ.

Each Sunday we read several scriptures from the Bible which are targeted toward a specific theme for that week.  We encourage you to bring your Bible to church and follow along with the reading.  Anyone can volunteer for reading these passages, simply use the sign up sheet which is passed around each Sunday.

Following the Readings, our Pastor may invite the children up to the front for a Children's Sermon in which each child is encouraged to participate.  Most Sundays, this is the most entertaining part of our service.  Don't miss it!  After this event, the smaller children are invited to go to the Fellowship Hall (below the Sanctuary) during the Pastor's sermon.  This is NOT REQUIRED, but is offered.  We will attempt to have an adult volunteer for this activity each Sunday.  Anyone can volunteer for this activity, simply use the sign up sheet which is passed around each Sunday, or head downstairs with the children.

After the Pastor's sermon, we typically pray for those in need, ask for forgiveness through our confessions and prepare for communion.  One of the most special activities at Zion is the gathering and holding hands during the Lord's Prayer each Sunday.  Be prepared to get up and hold your neighbor's hand during this event.

Communion is provided each Sunday at Zion.  Communion is open to all those who believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.  Simply rise from your pew when the usher indicates there is room at the alter and walk to the front.  Kneel down at the alter and open your hands to receive the blessing.  Zion offers Grape Juice (darker colored glasses) and Wine (lighter colored glasses) for the adults.  Children not old enough to understand Communion are welcome to come to the alter for a special blessing.

After a bit more singing, we wrap up the service with a special blessing by the Pastor and one last song to praise our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Following each service, you are welcome to stay and have a special treat and coffee in the Fellowship Hall (below the Sanctuary) to talk about the weeks experiences or upcoming events.

Praise God for our Church!
